On 17 October 2008, the Piano Time store in South Melbourne hosted a cocktail party at the Arts Centre to welcome Dr Christian Blüthner from Germany on his first visit to Melbourne. A number of guests from the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra provided musical entertainment, as did a jazz trio consisting of Steve on keys, Geof Kluke on bass and Michael Jordan on drums.
